The most advanced
life-support equipment

The largest cabin in its class features accommodation for 2 stretchers, either longitudinally or transversely and space for a full suite of the most advanced life-support equipment. Wide sliding doors allow easy loading/unloading of the patient, the spacious cabin ensures entire access to the patient. In addition to the cabin, a large baggage compartment is available to store additional stretchers and loose equipment.

Be there
when it counts

With its characteristics, the AW169 ensures that air medical professionals can be there when it counts, providing the best care. A Full Ice Protection (FIPS) will allow the AW169 to fly even in icing conditions. The Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) ‘mode’ allows the continued operation of the environmental control system, radios and medical devices when the rotors are stopped.
